There's a group of major chain hotels just south of I-35 and 95th St in Lenexa, KS. There's another group of hotels that's roughly equidistant from the church just south of I-35 and 119th St.

Alternatively, there are lots of options on airbnb, vrbo, etc for groups that may end up being cheaper on a per person basis.

The church is easily reachable by exiting I-35 on 95th St, going west to Pflumm Ave and taking a left to go south all the way to College Blvd, then take a right and another right on Greenwood St. You can't miss it once you're on Greenwood!

1. Slap's BBQ - 553 Central Ave, KCK - This is arguably the best BBQ in the metro

2. Nelson-Atkins Museum - 4525 Oak St, KCMO - Art museum with the famous giant badminton shuttlecock

3. Worlds of Fun - 4545 Worlds of Fun Ave, KCMO - Theme park kinda like Six Flags with rollercoasters, attractions, etc

4. Arrowhead Stadium - 1 Arrowhead Dr, KCMO - The Chiefs stadium. You can schedule tours of the stadium and locker rooms. The Royals' stadium, Kauffman Stadium, is right across from this if baseball is your thing

5. KC Zoo - 6800 Zoo Dr, KCMO - This is a favorite for anyone with kids. We have giraffes, penguins, elephants, and you can feed some of the animals too!

6. Fritz's - 13803 63rd St, Shawnee, KS - A cheap burger place where your food is delivered to your seat by a train. Highly recommended for those with kids

7. Casinos - Missouri River - If you'd like to go gambling, we have a few riverboat casinos on the Missouri. I-635 will take you to Argosy while I-35 will take you to Harrah's and Bally's
