Dayna is Kayla's older sister! Dayna is adventurous, fearless, and is always ready to make someone laugh! She absolutely adores her corgi, Pippa, and has asked many times for Pippa to be apart of the wedding, to which the answer is unfortunately no. We cannot wait for her to stand by us, as the matron of honor, on our special day!

Elly is Kayla's sweet sister-in-law!! She is most often found at the beach or on a boat with her two kids- Jaxon and Saylor, Kayla's adored nephew and niece. Elly loves all things beachy, sunny, and filled with fun. It is such an honor to have her apart of our day!

Alicia is Kayla's friend from birth... literally! We have always been close- 24 years of friendship filled with dance, swimming, and so many laughs. Alicia loves children, is often found at a baseball game, and never ceases to make everyone around her laugh. We could not have done this day without her.

Ashley and I met in an art history class when we were freshmen at Southern. We immediately clicked as we were both elementary education majors, and we spent more of our college and master's years laughing together than studying (we still graduated woohoo!) . Ashley loves kids, tanning on the beach, and is an amazing photographer! It is such an honor to have Ashley in our wedding!

Sara and I met in third grade, and were immediately the best of friends. We bonded so much as young girls and nothing has changed since. We have always laughed so much together- we often leave each other with sore cheeks from smiling. Sara is extremely intelligent, she loves hiking and camping, and is such a thoughtful and kind person all around. Having Sara apart of our wedding day is truly a gift.

Nancie is Peter's younger sister, and man can she put up a fight with him... the most hilarious banter I've experienced is between the two of them. Nancie and I clicked so quickly as we have very similar personality traits as well as interests! Nancie is extremely crafty, intelligent, and an AMAZING baker. It wouldn't be our wedding without Fancy Nancie apart of it!

Emily is so beautiful and her entertaining personality will always leaving you in a laughing fit. Emily is Peter's youngest sister, and the stories these two will share are hilarious! Emily loves to work with children, traveling, and has such a big heart. We are more than grateful to have Emily in our wedding!

Brandon has known me since we were in middle school. We met the day that Brandon moved to my neighborhood, when I comforted Brandon by handing him a Bible and Brandon never looked back. Brandon and I have not gone over 2 weeks without seeing each other since. We both went to the same high school, volunteered weekly at the same soup kitchen, went to the same church, and even the same college. Brandon has always been there for me, from early 3a m drives to the airport at the very last minute, to late night homemade jalapeno burgers. I was even privileged to have baptized Brandon as well. Brandon loves spending his time drawing, going to see movies, and reading through his Bible. Brandon currently lives in Stratford, CT where he recently purchased a condo, and he works for Walmart in Danbury as a Front End Team Lead.

Sam may be my oldest friend, as we have known each other since the womb. Sam’s mother and mine were close friends (and coworkers) when they were pregnant with us, and we spent practically every moment of our childhood together. From lego architects to gym partners, Sam and I have remained close as we have grown and matured. To this day Sam and I have long winded philosophical conversations about politics, theology, and stoicism. Sam spends his time living and working in New York City. He loves the gym, books, and spending time with his amazing family. Sam and his ENTIRE family have been there for me since birth, and I do not know where I would be without them. I am so happy to have Sam stand by me on this special day!

I first met Kyle at his sister Dayna's wedding in October of 2021. We share many of the same interests, and Kayla and I have always loved our time with him and his family in Florida, where they reside in Seminole. It is immensely special to have Kyle in our wedding as he is Kayla’s older brother, and family means so very much to us. Kyle currently works from home in Seminole, Florida as a project manager. He spends his time outside of work with his adorable family of 4 on boat rides, driving around in his golf cart, and taking his children to the park with his wonderful wife, Elly. We are beyond grateful to spend our wedding day with him by our side!

Canaan and I have been friends since I was 7 years old! Canada’s grandmother lived in my condo complex, and the rest is history. From forts in the woods, to late nights playing PS1, we were inseparable. Our lives went different ways for about ten total years, until we reconnected again as Kayla and his wife, Sara, also grew up together and began to get all four of us together. The four of us have gone to the Big E, car shows, coffee shops all over the state, and we’ve even gone off-roading in our Jeep Wrangler’s together. Canaan stays busy, from his work on media, to cars (specifically Jeeps), to his love of music, he has always inspired me, made me laugh, and always been there for a good time. We are honored to have him as well as his wife, Sara, by our side on our wedding day!

I first met Moses when he was 7 years old. He had been recently adopted into a family that we were close with growing up and he began attending a summer camp that I worked at. Moses and I hit it off instantly, despite our age gap we bonded (of course by) playing basketball, swimming, and even working on homework together haha! During my college years, I spent more time with Moses than ANYONE in my life. We traveled together (to other countries), played basketball outside in negative temperatures, went to NBA games, and spent entire summer’s side-by-side. Moses has inspired me by how much he has grown, both physically and even in his relationship with Christ since I have met him. Moses has always been there for me and I have never doubted he would not be by my side on this important day!

I first met Justin when we were both in the womb haha! Justin’s mother was actually my mother’s ‘Maid of Honor’ in her wedding, and have been great friends since highschool. Thus me and Justin have been together since birth. As kids we would spend time going crazy on his trampoline or playing on his inflatable slide. Although I would still love both activities, now we spend time going to see movies and going out to eat. Justin loves spending time with his family, reading, watching movies/shows and going to work. Justin also happens to be brother-in-law’s with the other groomsman, Moses Arden. Justin has been there for me from the beginning and I was so excited to be able to ask him to be by my side on the most special day of my life.

I was privileged to meet Mason on a late-night trip to Hardee’s with Nancie (Mason’s wife and my sister) in 2018. We immediately hit-it-off and were laughing the entire night. Little did we know that we would be brothers in a short few years. Although we have lived in separate states for a majority of their time knowing each other Mason and I continued to grow closer as friends! I was even lucky to have been a Groomsman in Mason and Nancie’s wedding back in 2022. Mason now resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with his wife Nancie, and his dog Opal. Mason currently works in Research for Sanford Health as well as a Swim Coach.
