Well, its true. Tinder really works.&nbsp;Petra&nbsp;got on there&nbsp;to&nbsp;look for a hiking partner in the mountains surrounding Ashland, this little town she had just&nbsp;found herself in. A few days later, she was 'Super Liked'.. sort of a big deal. Garrett also happened to be looking for a hiking partner on Tinder (he swears!), eager to continue&nbsp;exploring&nbsp;the Rogue Valley.&nbsp;After a few invitations Petra&nbsp;had to turn down, he almost gave up. But one night in August,&nbsp;after a long fire-fighting shift, he got a text asking him to meet for a beer. He accepted.&nbsp;She with her traveler's&nbsp;pack.&nbsp;He&nbsp;with his soot-stained turnouts. Hours passed that night, laying a foundation for the next year&nbsp;of adventure.&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;and Lauren were&nbsp;visiting from Wisconsin, enjoying a warm&nbsp;October in Ashland. The four of them ventured to Crater Lake. This is the sort of place you see in books.. its magical.&nbsp;Garrett, with no plan in place, grabbed the ring on his way out the door. At the pinnacle of the hike, Garrett led Petra to&nbsp;a bluff&nbsp;overlooking the lake. Down on one knee, he patiently waited.. and waited.. for Petra to turn around.&nbsp;At last she turned to find him kneeling,&nbsp;his grandmother's ring in&nbsp;hand.&nbsp;Michael and Lauren captured the proposal&nbsp;on video, in which you can hear Petra and Lauren both laughing with joy. It's pretty darn cute.&nbsp;
