We don't like to say that we are having a "Theme Wedding", but as you can all tell by your invitations, our celebration will be influenced by old Nordic and Viking traditional styles, while also incorporating Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings motives. Although we will not stray that far from what we all know and love about modern day weddings, we would like to have this celebration be a true reflection of us and believe that by choosing to include those motives, we will achieve that goal, while making the day even more fun, memorable, and unique! The beach where our ceremony will take place is right across from the venue, and is reached via a small foot path through the bluffs. The short walk there is on a sand/ grass terrain, so for the ladies, we recommend flats, wedges, or chunky heels (stilettoes would be a no no, at least for the beach portion of the celebration).
