The ceremony will be outdoors as long as the weather allows. However the reception will be indoors.

Both ceremony and reception will be located at Sweet Magnolia Wedding & Events in Marion IL

We will not be serving alcohol. However you are welcome to byob.

There’s no strict dress code. A mix between dressy and casual will do. We do kindly ask that you leave the white for the bride.

We have decided to have an unplugged ceremony so we ask that guest don’t take pictures, keep their phones away and silenced during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who will make sure and get the best pictures for us. Our photographer has also requested that during the first dance, daddy daughter dance, best man/MOH speech ect to not use any flash photography due to it effecting the professional photos.

Yes! The venue is only about 10 minutes outside of Marion. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Drury Inn but there are many more lodging options in Marion.
