May the fourth the couple had planned to go out for Peyton’s birthday weekend at Texas de Brazil in Memphis, TN. Unbeknownst to Peyton, Jacob had traveled to Little Rock on May third and picked up the engagement ring at a jeweler that his family uses. Jacob’s house came with an established peach orchard that Peyton has been in love with since he bought the property. Knowing this Jacob thought it would be the perfect place to propose. After Peyton had finished getting ready, Jacob asked her to come and look at the peaches growing on the trees, excited she thought nothing of it and happily followed him to the peach trees. As she was looking up at the growing peaches Jacob told her she was missing a peach and pointed to a broken peach limb where the ring was sitting and got down on one knee where he asked her if she would marry him. It was just the two of them and it could not have been more special to her.
