This is an informal event that we wanted to offer so that we could spend more time with our loved ones near and far. We are so thankful for all the time and effort required to celebrate our wedding day with us. For those who are in town early we would LOVE to spend more time with you and celebrate the proper Nashville way. WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors at Magnolia Acres. The weather in early October in Tennessee is typically between the mid 70-80s.
HOW FAR IS THE VENUE FROM NASHVILLE?
The venue is about a 45 minute drive from Nashville. If you want to properly enjoy Nashville we recommend staying downtown on Friday and then staying at a hotel in/near Columbia the night of the wedding!
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is black-tie optional. Ladies please keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors so you may want to wear a wider heel or use heel stoppers so that you do not sink into the grass.
CAN I BRING KIDS OR A GUEST TO THE WEDDING?
We are so excited to spend this day with our nearest and dearest so we are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children or guests who are invited.
What is the parking situation?
As you approach the address, please keep your eyes open for a white gate which will signify the front of the property. From there you will drive up a gravel pathway. As you approach the white house you will take a left and follow the gravel pathway to where parking is available.
When should I arrive?
We ask that you please arrive no later than 4:40pm to allow time to park and get seated. The ceremony starts at 5:00pm and therefore, the entrance will be blocked at this time.
