Marriage is not simply a contract or legally binding, but truly a sacrament.
When Peyton and Parker come together they will become one flesh in the eyes of God. Yes, Peyton will take Parker's last name and begin their lives together, but they will have joined in a Covenant on the spiritual level. This relationship that they share is intended to mirror the relationship that Christ has with his Church. Marriage is a witness to the Gospel. Christ loves His church so deeply that he laid his life down on the cross for His people. This gives a deeper meaning to the significance of this matrimony they will be joining in.
We are so grateful to have so many people join us on this momentous day. We appreciate your prayers and blessings for the years to come.
