We met while we were both working at Lowe's, Greg was unexpectedly placed as a cashier in the garden center with me. One thing led to another, and here we are!

We dated for one year and five months before Greg popped the question! During this time there were vacations, weddings, many drives to Richmond, tons of fun, and lots of love!

Greg proposed on December 26, 2022. I was under the impression that we were having family photos done because my mom had reached out with all the planning details. The plan was for Greg to wait until the end of the shoot and Melanie, our photographer, would ask me and Greg to be the "guinea pigs" fir the new snow machine she bought. However, it was actually snowing, so we weren't going to be using it. Greg panicked at the beginning and dropped to one knee. Melanie was rushing to hopefully get the pictures, and I was getting onto Greg for "getting his pants dirty and wet for the pictures." Needless to say, everyone was shocked as you can see from our faces in the pictures.
