Yes we are. We married on September 8th, 2023 in a private courthouse ceremony. This ceremony and reception is to celebrate our marriage with all of you.

While your children are welcome at our wedding, we politely ask that you make other arrangements for them due to space constraints.

Wear your Sunday best. Jeans, boots, and shorts are welcome. No cutoffs, tie dye, or pro Biden shirts.

Yes. Rooms are blocked at the Stoney Creek Hotel at 1201 Woodbine Road in St. Joseph. Call (816) 901-9600 and provide the dates of your stay and say you're with the McDonald wedding room block, or go online to www.stoneycreekhotels.com, select the St. Joseph property, and use the group code 2406MCDONALD to reserve a room. If they say there are no more rooms available, contact us and we will have more rooms blocked. You have until May 27th, 2024 to make reservations.

It might be 60 and raining or it might be 100 and humid. Plan for somewhere in between. As of 6/25/24, it says that it will be mid 80s and may or may not rain.

The ceremony and reception will both take place at the Monarch Place Event Center near Oregon, MO. The ceremony will be at 5:00 PM with the reception to follow.

We are planning for the ceremony to take place outside and the reception inside. If it rains, the ceremony will take place inside. The venue has large garage doors which open to outdoor seating.

The wedding ceremony is at 5:00 PM. You are welcome to arrive up to three hours prior to the ceremony and enjoy some drinks or play a round of corn hole.

The address is 36900 Holt 310 Oregon, MO 64473. Entering this address may or may not take you there. From I-29 N, take exit 67 on to US 59 N toward Oregon and in less than 1/4 mile turn left on to Vista Drive. Follow Vista Drive for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right on to Holt 310. There will be signs guiding you from there.

You may park in the gravel lot near the venue or in the grass along the road in. Parking is free.

After the ceremony, we invite you to celebrate our marriage with us. There will be music, dancing, food, drinks, and games.

Please talk to one of us prior to inviting a plus one.

Due to space limitations, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner to those playing a role in the ceremony. With that said, we would love to see you at the ceremony and reception.

We are registered at Target and we have a cash donation option if you would like to help fund our honeymoon to Norway. Both registry options can be found on our wedding website. If you purchase a gift, which is by no means a requirement, they can be shipped to our address or brought to the venue on Saturday.

Your invitation will include a link to RSVP. Please do so as soon as possible after receiving your invitation.

There will be two entree options of shredded pork and pulled chicken. Sides will include scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad, and dinner rolls. Water, tea, lemonade, some soda and a limited amount of beer and wine will be provided. Outside coolers are welcome and we ask that you bring your own beverages.
