Our Story

How We Met

In December, Peyton's friend Kristen called her and said "I'm a genius, I think I have found the guy for you" she proceeded to talk up Benjamin and she was not about to take no for an answer so Peyton agreed to let her give Benjamin her number. About a week later (yes, a whole week), Benjamin texted Peyton to ask her on a date to which she said yes.

First Date

Benjamin planned the first date and they went to Cibo Trattoria in Winston-Salem. They were both so nervous but that didn't stop them from talking for almost four hours.

The Ring

Benjamin picked out the ring all by himself!

Benjamin and Peyton only dated a few short months before getting engaged. They both had prayed a long time that they would find the person God wanted them to marry and when they did they knew almost instantly that they would spend the rest of their lives together.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
