I love telling this story…
DK and Mrs. Becky went to high school together, so they already knew each other.
DK was working as a Labor & Delivery nurse the night Curtis was born, and wouldn’t you know it, she was Mrs. Becky’s nurse that night.
Fast forward 17 years, DK and I go to Clemson’s Prowl and Growl (I didn’t want to go, but free food was mentioned, so I was easily persuaded) Curtis and his family happened to be there too. I caught a glimpse of Curtis standing in line and was immediately smitten. A couple of minutes later, Mrs. Becky walked over to the table Mama and I was sitting at and introduced the now 17 year old Curtis that DK helped bring into the world.
I knew immediately I had to know his name, so, I bombarded mama with questions and eventually found him on social media. (DK technically found him first). I followed him on Instagram, we started talking and 4 years later Curtis proposed.
