Yes, parking is available on Mahogany Island for the ceremony. At the Mahogany Island gate, please enter our wedding date as the code (2107) and then please feel free to park anywhere on the Island, including along the sides of the bridge. Parking will also be available along the street before entering the Mahogany Island gate and then you may enter the pedestrian gate using the same code. Please do not however park in front of any driveway.

We are opting for an unplugged ceremony. We invite you to be fully present with us during the ceremony. We ask that each guest kindly switch off and put all phones and cameras away during the ceremony and enjoy the special moment with us. We will have an amazing photographer capturing the ceremony and we will share our ceremony photos with you through the Dots Memories App.

You may take photos and videos directly through the Dots Memories App by choosing the + upload button or take photos and videos through your phone camera and upload them later.

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at Heritage Pointe Golf Course. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles in the parking lot overnight. A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at a hotel nearby (10 minutes) for any out-of-town guests or guests who would prefer to not drive home afterwards.

The ceremony will take place outdoors on Mahogany Island. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors at Heritage Pointe Golf Course.

The dress code is semi-formal, which falls in-between formal and casual. We invite you to dress comfortably, but to still dress to impress. Options for men: a suit, dress pants and dress shirt - tie is optional. Options for women: cocktail dress, sundress, skirt and top combo, pantsuit.

We can only accommodate a very small number of guests; therefore, all guests are by invitation only. Please refer to your wedding invitation for how many seats have been reserved in your honour.

A glass of champagne will be served to each guest during cocktail hour, followed by a glass of wine during dinner. Additionally, two drink tickets will be provided for each guest. A cash bar will be available for any additional drinks.

The party-starter sweepstake is a sweepstake that will take place at the reception. A poster board will be set up with a series of 50 different songs. Guests can place a $5 bet on which song they guess will be the party-starter song for the dance. When choosing a song, write your name under the song you guess on the poster, then place $5 in the Party-Starter Sweepstake Box. Guests can place up to a maximum of 3 bets ($5/bet). Each song can be bet on by three different guests, so 3 winners are possible and would share the pot. If nobody guesses correctly, the bride & groom take all! Don't forget your $5 bills to place your bets!!

Yes, we have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott, Calgary South from July 18-22,2025. The hotels are only 10 minutes away from the reception venue for any out-of-town guests or guests who would prefer to stay somewhere nearby for the night. Both hotels will offer a room block of 15% off the Best Available Rate. The Courtyard offers a Standard hotel room with small fridges and Executive Suites. The Residence Inn includes full kitchenettes, a living room area, and a full hot breakfast buffet. The two hotels share a pool, waterslide, hot tub, fitness centre, and Soma Spa. Hotel amenities include a pool with slide, whirlpool, business centre, 24-hr market and fitness centre.
