We met the summer of 2015 going into our sophomore year of college at Ole Miss. Chase's childhood best friend and Peyton's college best friend had recently started dating, so Peyton was dragged along to a trip to the lake house that summer. We quickly hit it off and couldn't wait for the fall semester to start so we could see each other again. Chase was taking his sweet time to make a move when Peyton's sorority announced a surprise date dash. Peyton quickly texted Chase to invite him (after lots of encouragement from her friends) and he accepted! We danced and talked all night long.

Throughout the rest of the fall semester, we spent so much time together - gamedays in the Grove, going out to the Square, going to more date parties/formals, and just hanging out with our group of friends. When we went back home for winter break, we talked constantly and made plans to go back to Oxford early to celebrate New Years Eve together. That night as the clock struck midnight, we both said I love you and officially started dating.

We spent the rest of our college years together - we met each other's families, went on trips, pulled all-nighter study sessions, danced away at date parties/formals, and finally graduated together.

After we graduated in 2019, we moved to Jackson, MS for work. Unfortunately, not too long after that, COVID-19 hit and we both moved back home for a little bit. Once things started opening back up more later in 2020, Chase got a job in Memphis, TN. We did long distance until the summer of 2021 when Peyton found a remote job and moved to Memphis too. We finally moved into a little townhouse together in the fall of 2021. We loved living in Memphis, but started to miss Oxford so much. We made plans to move there and started saving as much money as we could. Finally, in the summer of 2023, we bought our first house and moved back to our favorite place, Oxford. That fall after nearly 8 years together, Chase proposed at an intimate picnic date near Sardis Lake. In the winter, we added onto our little family and adopted our sweet puppy, Cooper. In May 2025, we will officially be married in our favorite place surrounded by all of our favorite people!
