On the first day of Peyton's freshman year of college at Wayne State, she walked into her 10:00am Music Appreciation course. She saw an open seat next to Camden and asked if she could sit next to him. Had either one of them not picked this general education course, they would not have met!


Two months later on October 18th, 2022, they started dating. A month after, they shared each others family Thanksgivings together, then Christmas later on. Peyton attended Cam's family ski trip in January of 2023, and Cam shared the annual Table Rock Lake trip with Peyton's family in the following June.


On April 28th, 2024, Camden proposed at his grandparents' golf course in Dakota Dunes. Their parents and grandparents were there to share the amazing moment with them!
