Peyton Sue Russell was born and raised in Derby, Kansas. She graduated in 2019 from Derby High School and continued her education at Butler Community College. She earned her Associates in Early Childhood Education this past spring. Peyton currently works on McConnell Air Force Base at the School Age Program as a Desk Clerk.

Zachary Lewis Blessant grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He went to Rose Hill High School and graduated in 2018. He went on to Wichita State University and graduated with his degree in Sport Management in 2021. Zach currently works for Visit Wichita and is a Sports Coordinator for the city.

Peyton and Zach met through a mutual friend who posted a picture of Zach on her Instagram story. Peyton thought he was cute so she asked all about him then decided to message him first. They went on their first date about a week later and hit it off! Zach proposed on December 17th, 2023. When you know, you know!
