Day 0: Arrive in Bordeaux and Welcome Drinks

June 13th, 14th, & 15th, 2025

We have booked tickets from LAX to CDG leaving Friday June 13th at 9:00pm. We will land in Paris on the 14th of June and travel to a hotel near the train station. We plan to spend the night in Paris and leave for the train on June 15th. We will take the 12:11 PM train from Paris to Bordeaux.

This trip is approximately 2 hours and the train leaves from Paris often in case you miss the train we are taking. Please let us know if you have any issues making your travel arrangements.

To make this trip easier for our guests, we will meet any one who has arrived in Paris by this time at the train station Gare Montparnasse. We will take the train departing to Bordeaux Saint jean at 12:04PM . Please plan to buy your train ticket in advanced to ensure a smooth travel experience.

Please plan to text Joseph or Peyton with your flight information once you have secured your plane tickets. This way we can keep track of those who will be traveling with us.

Once we have arrived in Bordeaux on June 15th feel free to explore the area or hang at the hotel. We be meeting at the Carnival Cafe Club House around 6:00pm. Come any time and stay for as long or as little as you want! You can grab dinner there or feel free to eat dinner on your own if you want to explore the city more.

Our accommodations for the two nights in Bordeaux are at the Radisson Hotel Saint Jean right by the train station. This is 10 minute walk from the train stain and should make for an easy travel experience once we are off the train.

Day 1: Jack and Jill Parties

June 16th, 2025

Today, we will be hosting our bachelor and bachelorette parties.

All guests who arrive early to experience Bordeaux are invited to join the parties or you may choose to explore the city on their own.

If you would like to join, these experiences are at your own cost, but we have tried to make them budget-friendly.

The men will be engaging in a riveting round of golf at Golf du Médoc, which is about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. After golfing the men will endeavor to go bar hopping around the city.

If you plan to attend the golf day please dress in golf attire.

The women will be experiencing what Bordeaux has to offer by seeing the sights and wine tasting the day away. Our walking tour will take us to some of the most famous sights around the city. It is about a 3 mile walk but we will take many breaks to enjoy the area and definitely indulge in the local wines.

If you would like to join the ladies for the day please wear something comfortable and don't forget your walking shoes.

We will meet up at the hotel to get ready for dinner around 4pm.

Tonight's dinner will be hosted by the Widuch family and will be our rehearsal dinner to celebrate and enjoy the cuisine of the area.

All are invited to join for dinner.

We will be eating at La Plana and the dress is cocktail attire.

Day 2: Travel to Chateau Barayre

June 17th, 2025

At 10:00 AM, a charter bus will arrive at the hotel to take all guests to the chateau.

Please note that if you are not interested in arriving early, you will need to be at the hotel by 9:00 AM on the 17th to make it in time for the bus. Otherwise, you will need to find your own transportation to the chateau.

We will spend the day relaxing and unpacking. Please visit the accommodation tab on this website to see more information about the chateau.

Due to the size of our party, we will need to have two chateaux in order to accommodate all of our guests. At Chateau Barayre, we will have 20 guests onsite. The other 12 guests will stay at a chateau just a short walk away. Once we have the final guest list, we will let you know where you will be staying.

While at the chateau, all food, wine, beer, soft drinks and accommodations will be included for the $100 per night per person.

Once we are all settled, we will enjoy a welcome happy hour by the pool, dinner and an intimate evening with our friends and family.

Day 3: Wedding Day

June 18th, 2025

The big day has finally arrived! We will start with a delightful brunch in the courtyard, where we will gather and enjoy a variety of delicious foods and beverages to kick off the festivities.

After brunch, take some time to relax and prepare for the ceremony. You can lounge in a hammock, play a game of pétanque, or take a refreshing swim. During this time, Peyton will be getting ready for the ceremony.

Next, it will be time for everyone to get dressed and ready for the special occasion. Take your time to look your best and prepare for the beautiful ceremony that awaits us.

Join us at the church onsite for an intimate ceremony where we will exchange our vows. around 2:30 pm and the ceremony will start around 3:00pm

After the ceremony, we will head back to the courtyard for the reception. Enjoy light appetizers, champagne, and music as we celebrate this joyous occasion.

Following the happy hour, we will have a grand dinner in the forecourt, featuring a selection of exquisite dishes and local cuisine. Indulge in the feast and enjoy the company of friends and family under the trees.

The celebration will continue with a party in the barn. We will start with our first dance and then dance the night away, enjoying the atmosphere and making unforgettable memories with our loved ones.

Day 4: Exploring the Region

June 19th, 2025

After some much needed rest, we'll wake up to a late brunch in the garden to prepare for a day of exploring the local town of Monflanquin.

Monflanquin is just a 10-minute drive from the chateau and will give us an understanding of the medieval roots of the region. Once there, we will explore the small town, and partake in some wine tasting. You are also welcome to explore on your own if you prefer.

Today's excursions will be at your own cost, so feel free to stay back and enjoy the chateau if you would like a more relaxed day.

We will end the day back at the chateau with a wine tasting in the chateau's personal wine cellar. This will be followed by a happy hour and dinner at sunset. Enjoy the beautiful evening with friends and family as we savor delicious food and fine wine.

Day 5: The Final Farewell

June 20th, 2025

All good things must come to an end! Today, we will wake up and spend some time packing our belongings. Once finished, we will gather for one last brunch in the courtyard.

After brunch, the charter bus will pick up all guests and take you back to Bordeaux. From there, what you do is up to you. Whether you choose to embark on another unforgettable adventure in other parts of the world or take a relaxing flight home, we hope your journey continues to be wonderful.
