Dear Friends,

We would like to tell you about an exciting opportunity that we have coming up in June 2025. For one week, we will be part of a team from Crosspoint City Church traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland for a mission trip.

While there, we’ll have the opportunity to work with an amazing organization called Access Scotland. Access Scotland exists to share the Gospel in Scotland through local church outreach, discipleship for new believers in Scotland, youth ministry and facilitating relationships among church leaders in the U.S and Scotland. Along with this, we will be partnering in ministry with Take Hold Church in Edinburgh. This has become more and more necessary over time as Scotland, a country that was 75% Christian in 1900, is a nation that is less than 1% Christian today.

Phaedra's Story:

Two years ago, I was invited to apply for a mission trip. The very thought made me uncontrollably anxious. I felt like I couldn’t do it – like I wasn’t made for that. I believed this lie. I had made up my mind: I wouldn’t go on mission trips abroad. I spent my summer instead as a Christian summer camp counselor. I prayed to God about my aversion to going on mission trips abroad, asking that He soften my heart and change my mind toward mission trips abroad. My heart softened, and I felt prepared to go. It wasn’t that I changed, but that God showed me that I was needed and He would provide everything I needed – money, courage, and community. I knew I would obey this time around.

Silas's Story:

In order for me to be a part of this life-changing experience, we have a responsibility to raise funds for the cost of my trip. The total amount each of us need to raise is $3,900.00. This is a significant amount of money, but with God’s help and provision, we know that this need will be met.
