It all began on April 3,2020. I had just gotten out of a somewhat difficult relationship and posted the shown photo on Facebook in relief that I no longer needed to struggle to make a broken relationship work. Bruce and I had befriended each other on FB years before, but didn't really know one another and had never officially met.
Within an hour of posting the photo I received a message on messenger that would end up changing my life. Bruce hoped that I wouldn't think he was crazy and informed me that he had had a crush on me from years ago when I managed for Bed, Bath & Beyond. He worked up his courage because it might just be the last opportunity to meet and get to know me. He asked if I would be open to communicating on messenger to become acquainted.
I wasn't exactly looking to explore a possible new relationship, but a small voice kept saying "Give it a chance!" When an extremely handsome guy who seems polite, well mannered and genuine displays interest, you'd be a fool not to at least develope a friendship.
Messaging graduated to long conversations on the phone. Due to the heights of Covid-19 we shared many long, wonderful conversations before finally meeting face to face. Our strong friendship has grown into a strong love. Our lives will never be the same and a simple FB post has led to the fulfillment of life long dreams. Looking forward to our future blessed in unity.
