Alex, my cousin invited me to hang out with her and her volleyball teammates to continue her birthday celebrations. Philip was one of her teammates .

Philip stood out to me! I spoke to everyone except him. I avoided him because I knew I’d blush too much.

Days later.. I found out that he’d been asking about me. He sent a message with my cousin instructing me to check my facebook messages. It was a lovely surprise.

Days later we went on our first date at Sushi Rokkan and years later we are here about to get married!

Ironically the day we met we were wearing the same color. We didn’t speak much to each other but God knows she caught my eye. The most beautiful creation God ever gifted to man, when we started dating she proved to me that there were still women of of virtue still out there.

Beyond her beauty lies a strong woman who supports, cares, encourages and prays. Her presence in my life helps challenges me to be a better man.

Shalese caught my eye the day we met and now she is the woman who has caught my heart!
