We were set up to meet at a board game night, though I (Mercy) didn't know Philip knew that it was a set up. It didn’t take long for Philip to ask me if I wanted his number, in which my quick reply was, "Ok!"

Our first date was to Chick-fil-A and bowling. After our third date to a State Park, we realized this could work and decided to make it official.

Philip took me to Interstate State Park, and on a ledge overlooking the water, he popped the question. I didn't skip a beat, and said, "YES!"

We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you, our family and friends as we step into a brand-new adventure.
