Phil joined the LifeChurch Host Team in the Spring of 2021 and Barb in the Fall of 2021. Instantly Barb had her eye on him. It wasn't until a crazy round of jungle pong that Phil noticed her. Barb knocked over a computer and a cup of coffee so that warranted her some attention. Phil saw the mess and rushed to the bathroom to grab some paper towels. He helped cleaned up the coffee and was truly impressed by the scene that she caused.

Later that evening Barb walked up to Phil and asked him directions for her job (she knew what she was doing). She also figured this was a good time to introduce herself. The two met on September 26, 2021. The next weeks consisted of watching movies, walks at the lake and pure excitement. Phil asked Barb to be his girlfriend on October 12, 2021. The rest is history.
