Siobhan Young grew up in Auburndale, Wisconsin in a loving Christian home. She moved to Cedarville, Michigan in June 2021 to work at a camp, and after spending the summer there she went back to the camp in December 2021 and stayed through August 2022. Siobhan then moved back to Wisconsin and grew more in the community and even more in Community Bible Church. Philip grew up in Rockford and Pecatonica Illinois with amazing godly parents and 5 crazy siblings. November 2019 Philip moved to Marshfield Wisconsin for a job and began attending Community Bible Church which is where he met Siobhan.

This past September, Siobhan’s cousin, Allie, had a 30-day prayer challenge, and Siobhan decided to join despite the fact she was single because she felt that she should be praying for her future husband.

God knew what He was doing.

On October 1, 2023, Philip asked Siobhan on a date, a little scared and nervous she said yes. It was one of the best decisions that she made of saying yes to go on a date with Philip. After many successful dates that preceded that first date, they grew closer together; they enjoyed shooting guns, motorcycle rides, praying together, and getting to know each other.

Fast forward three months, on December 24, 2023, while opening presents, Philip gave Siobhan a big box filled with packing peanuts. Nonsuspicious Siobhan started to dig through the packing peanuts and there was a ring at the bottom of the box! After making a mess and finding the ring, Philip asked Siobhan to marry him, and they became a happily engaged couple!

It is amazing looking back and seeing how God provided for us throughout our relationship, and how we grew together and towards God. We are more than ready to spend our lives together growing in Christ and growing as a family.
