I am one of the younger sister to the bride. We are the closet of all sisters. She is not only my sister but my best friend. I can't imagine her special day without me standing by her side as she did with me all those years ago.

Phyllis and I grew up as neighbors ( Bay City and El campo)! I've known the bride since high school, meeting as a rivalries during all our sporting competitions. Over the years, as we became adults, our careers landed us in Austin, Texas, and our paths crossed again at East Nineteenth Street Baptist Church. Throughout the years, we became inseparable (Homie's) and I shared many of life's big moments. She is my loving and spirited sister, and it means the world to me to be by her side as a Matron of Honor! Congrats and Love you, Homie!

Hello People of God. I am the oldest sister and yes I let her be known often.. I have known Phyllis of course all of my life. As we grew up in the same home where you play outside all day, drank water from a water hose slept together, bathe together, you get the picture. As we got old enough to play sports, I could tell she was the more athletic one. But her and I did make a triple play one time in softball and walked off the field, while everyone was trying to figure out what had happen. We knew I kept that ball. My spring breaks and summers instantly became occupied with my sisters in Austin. At end of my summer I will always argued with her about sending HER SON on a plane by his self to visit HIS DAD (Phil) lol. Over time our bond has grown thicker and stronger. I met the bride over 50 years. Growing up with her baby sister Aretha and her older sisters Lorrie and Alesia and brother Wayne. She /they were all my big brother and sisters with Lorrie being my God mother. The bride has been a part of SOOO many of my best memories including when I got married. I have shared a lifetime of memories with the bride to be! Taking it back to the 70's we became neighbors that made us family. From singing side by side in the youth church choir, racing to find Bible scriptures at BTU, backyard cup ball, kickball, hopscotch, playing jacks and onto organized sports in school including drill team. Once a Doll always a Doll". More importantly we share the love of my first daughter, her God daughter Destini and 2 added bonuses 2 grand god daughters Jayla and Kamille. I am the groom childhood sister we have been friends for 46 years. I am the sister he never had which makes Phyllis my sister. I am overjoyed to be part of their special day!

How I meet the Bride: I am the daughter of the Groom. I meet the bride when I was about 5 or 6 I was nervous to be in a new environment I wet my pants!!! My dad was upset , but not Phyllis she basically told him to shut up and she got me together. To this day she still gets me together whenever I need anything and even when I don't. A little me : I am a Leo I treat my birthday like a national holiday LOL (but NO I am very serious). I am also a huge Beyoncé fan and have been to every concert. I enjoy being around family having a good time. Can't wait till the big day to share with my Dad and Stepmom.

I met the Bride when I was 10 years old with my father who she's marrying and because she is also my big brothers mother . I am the youngest daughter of us all and the Bride always treated me like a daughter of her own with and without my dad she would always welcome me to her home. She was there for us when my grandmother passed and she always makes the best food. I love her dearly and can't wait to officially have a 2nd mom. Love you Phyllis.
