Our Story

Ty & Phoebs

Ty and Phoebe's story began at a bridal shower, of all places, where the girls were playfully presenting their most eligible bachelors for Phoebe-- who happened to be single as a pringle. Brigid Carr--one of Ty's close friends from Carroll (go Saints), and also one of Kayla's (Phoebe's sister-in-law) good friend-- made the introduction that would change everything.

Not long after, Ty and Phoebe went on their first date at No-Li Brewhouse in Spokane, Washington, where craft beer, easy conversation, and undeniable chemistry set the stage for something special.

Since then, their story has included road trips, long-distance between 4 different states, lots of adventurous dates, unforgettable weekends with friends and family, and countless moments of shared adventure. Whether they're at a concert, hanging with their dogs, enjoying a sunset on the beach, or going on countless dinner dates, Ty and Phoebe have built a love that's truly rooted in friendship and a mutual love and joy for life.

Next up, a wedding to start their next season of life together, shared with all the people who helped them get here.

See you all in December!

Q + A

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a guest?

Your invitation will clearly indicate if a guest or plus-one is welcome.

Is there a welcome party?

Yes! Once the rehearsal dinner concludes at 7pm, anyone who is invited to the wedding is welcome to join us for drinks and socializing! O'Toole's Pub serves beer and wine. Guests will be responsible for their tabs. We'll wrap up around 9pm. Free parking is available at the parking structure off of Acala Park Way on campus. Use code "6031" for access. Walk over the the Hahn University Center and follow signs to La Gran Terraza.

Is there a dress code?

Dress code is cocktail. Women are encouraged to wear mid-length to floor-length dresses or pantsuits. Men are encouraged to wear suits and ties. Garden party colors and patterns encouraged.

When and where is the wedding?

The wedding takes place December 6, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm at The Immaculata Catholic Church on the University of San Diego campus. The reception will begin shortly after at VESPER Venue in Liberty Station with cocktail hour starting at 4:30pm. There will be a live band and multiple bartenders ready to serve you all night long!

Is there parking at the ceremony/venue?

There is plenty of free parking available at both the ceremony and reception venue. The reception is only about a 10-15 minute drive from the church. There will be about an hour between the ceremony and cocktail hour so there is no rush getting over there. We do recommend Ubering to the reception if you plan on drinking. Thanks for being responsible!

What's for dinner?

Tacos, tacos, and more tacos. A full-service taco bar with Mexico City flair—yes, you can go back for seconds (or thirds).

Is there an open bar?

Of course! At the reception, you'll have 5 hours to enjoy as many cocktails as you want (responsibly of course). We're watching you, Jack Danks!
