This is our all time favorite restaurant in Boston! It has the most delectable Greek food. It can get booked with reservations so if you want to go, we recommend going early to sit at the bar accompanied by a glass of wine with mezze platters!
Some other restaurants that we love and are very close to our venue are Trade, which is also greek, and Nebo, which is Italian.
If you are new to Boston, walking around Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market Place is a must do! It is super touristy so don't say we didn't warn you!
Commonwealth is one of the main streets in Boston that parallels the famous Newbury Street and Boylston. One of the perks of having a Christmas Wedding is that the city is decked out in holiday lights. One of our favorite holiday activities includes walking Commonwealth Ave in the evening, admiring the Christmas lights and multi-million dollar homes! After you look at the lights head to Buttermilk and Bourbon, also on Commonwealth Ave, to grab a bite to eat and drink.
Boston has it's own Holiday Market, Snowport! If you are in the Christmas spirit you can head over for some overpriced hot chocolate and holiday gifts! Although it get's you in the holiday spirit, it does get insanely busy so plan accordingly with timing if you want to make a stop here. Snowport is located in the Seaport district that is the newest part of Boston and a quick walk from our wedding venue. It has a lot of great shopping and restaurants as well such as Committee and Gather!
Visit the place the YES spot for a beautiful walk along Boston's waterfront.
The North End is Boston's Italian District. It's full of history, good eats, and a place that is on many Boston tourists itinerary. Cannolis are a must when you are in the North End. The 3 most famous places are Mike's Pastry, Bova's, and Modern Pastry. We stand by that Modern Pastry is the best. Our go to order is a traditional cannoli with mini-chocolate chips. Keep in mind all the bakeries are cash only so go prepared! Some restaurants in the North End are over-priced large portions of food but if you are looking for a traditional Italian meal, some of our favorites are Bricco and Monica's!
