Phoenix and I met during our time at Auburn. Our friend Karrington introduced us for the first time at her birthday party back in 2021. We mainly spent that night hanging out with our friends, and I saw her personality come out (and of course, how beautiful she is).

That weekend, a group of friends decided to drive to Birmingham to play Topgolf. This is where I first noticed how she encourages and supports her friends. For anyone who knows her, this is one of the first things you probably noticed as well. Spending more and more time getting to know each other, I quickly realized that Phoenix is someone I would love to pursue. The first time we hung out, I asked her to study at the Red Barn in Auburn. Accomplishing lots of homework and reviewing for upcoming tests was the last thing on my mind. I worked up the courage to ask Phoenix on a date, and we went for a hike and dinner after. We had intentional time together and conversations I can remember vividly. I love how comfortable we felt with each other so quickly.

Since then, I have been drawn to the way she treats those around her, listens before acting, her goofy personality, kindheartedness, and of course how beautiful she is. These are just a few of the reasons that I fell in love with Phoenix. I cannot imagine not having her in my corner. April 4th cannot come quick enough! I am so excited to marry you, Phoenix.
