How They Met 

Pia & Austin's love story began when they met in middle school, hanging out with friends at the Valencia mall on a Friday night. They were connected by a mutual friend and a playful crush developed. Little did they know that this youthful admiration would be the seed for a beautiful, colorful, and inspiring love story!

A Growing Connection 

Despite living separate lives throughout the next few years in high school, they seemed to have a deep sense of magnetism toward each other, consistently in each others orbit. In 2012, after reconnecting through another mutual friend, Pia & Austin discovered how truly undeniable their connection was. They couldn’t stop thinking about each other🤍. After a year of dating, Pia moved to Hawaii for college, trusting that whatever may unfold from that would be fate.

They spent their second year together long distance, but their soul connection was too strong to keep distanced apart. Austin then followed his heart and moved to Hawaii where they lived for three years while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa pursuing Bachelor's Degrees in Biology. They explored the vibrant tapestry of life through nature, weaving unforgettable memories against the backdrop of turquoise waters, soft sands, and late night hours in the library cramming for their next organic chemistry exam.

After graduating, they moved to yet another backdrop of sandy shores in sunny San Diego, where they welcomed their little fur baby, Onyx, along with their little white dog, Sasha (rest in doggy heaven) 🐾 From creating art & throwing paint to shredding the gnar on snow-covered slopes, from scoping out the best sushi spot to chasing around their favorite music artists, their love blossomed and grew deeper with each experience.

The Proposal 

Then, on the crisp sunlit day of Austin’s 27th birthday, all their loved ones gathered around at Mission Bay to “celebrate Austin’s birthday”- it was the perfect scenario for Pia to not suspect a thing! Finally building up the courage, Austin knelt before Pia- his heart overflowing with almost a decade of transformative memories. “Will you marry me?” With tears of joy and long-awaited anticipation, she said “yes!” and sealed their bond with a promise of forever 🤍

Now, after 11 years of laughter, art, music, growth, and transformation, Austin & Pia stand at the threshold of a new chapter, ready to paint their future with hues of their hearts and souls. Together with their families and friends, they embark on the next step of their journey in a love story as timeless as it is inspiring.
