Our Wedding

Once upon a sunny August day in 2021, amidst the vibrant energy of Historic Fort Wayne in Detroit, our paths crossed in a moment that would change our lives forever. In the midst of the Charivari festival's lively atmosphere, Piera and Yamah's eyes met, igniting a spark that would illuminate their lives. It was an instant connection, a collision of hearts and souls that felt like destiny in motion. From the very first moment, our connection was undeniable – a whirlwind of laughter, shared dreams, and endless conversations that stretched into the night. It was as if the universe conspired to bring us together, and we didn't hesitate to seize the opportunity. Piera, calling in sick to work, decided to spend Yamah’s last four days in Detroit with Yamah, a decision that would mark the beginning of our extraordinary journey together. Just two months later, with hearts full of love and excitement, we took the leap and moved in together in the heart of Detroit. For Yamah, it meant leaving behind the sun-soaked shores of California, while Piera had already embraced Detroit as her home for the past two years. Together with our beloved dogs Ozzy and Oscar, we transformed a house into a home, weaving our love into every corner and creating a sanctuary where our souls could thrive. Detroit, with its rich history, resilient spirit, and boundless creativity, became the backdrop to our love story – a city that we both hold dear to our hearts. It's in the bustling streets, the quiet corners, and the vibrant communities where we've found our rhythm and built the foundation for our future together. As we stand on the threshold of forever, surrounded by the love and support of our closest friends and family, we are filled with gratitude and anticipation for the journey ahead. With every step we take together, we are reminded of the magic of that fateful day in August and the love that continues to grow between us. Today, as we embark on this new chapter as husband and wife, we invite you to share in the joy of our love story – a story that began with a chance encounter but blossomed into a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures. With love and gratitude, Piera & Yamah
