Michael and his best friend, Sam, stumble into The West End Lounge where Pilar is hosting an Open Mic Night. Pilar and Michael meet and start chatting. Pilar gives Michael her phone number and they part ways.

Mike was persistent with his communication with Pilar. After 3 weeks, Pilar finally invited him over to her apartment. They drank wine and sang musical theatre duets. He never left.

Their first official dinner date happened on Mike's birthday at Rosa Mexicana in Union Square. To date, it's one of their favorite restaurants.

3 whammies in one day! Mike comes to Moorestown where he surprisingly meets Pilar's mom for the first time. He also meets her best friend, Aliya. Aliya, Pilar, and Michael head to Eastern State Penitentiary for Halloween. Pilar finds out that Michael actually doesn't love Haunted Houses as much as she does.

Pilar and Mike's first Broadway show together. Spongebob the Musical! Their first of many more shows to see.

Pilar and Mike's first job together. It was a reading of "Fat Kid Rules the World" at SpoonfedNYC.

Pilar's first Yankee Game! Mike officially turned Pilar into a New York Fan.....but just for baseball.

Mike's first weekend in Brigantine. Pilar's mom, Wendy, and him finally get to know each other over a few mason jar cocktails at Back Bay Alehouse.

Pilar and Mike's first anniversary at Capital Grille in New York City. He gave her a beautiful Tiffany necklace. She gave him a new pair of Van's sneakers.

Their first Red Carpet together at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California. It was opening night of the First National Tour of "A Bronx Tale." Mike slayed as Pilar cheered.

Their first New Year's Kiss at Dragonfly in Dallas, Texas. <3

Pilar and Mike become kids again at their first trip together to Six Flags Great Adventure in Hamilton, New Jersey. It was 101 degrees out so water rides were necessary.

After working hard on the Bronx Tale tour, Mike took Pilar on their first vacation to Saint Lucia. How Romantic! They saw the Pitons, swam in the fountain of youth, relaxed in a volcanic mud bath, and enjoyed the unlimited drink package.

Mike finally meets the rest of the CRAZY Martinez family. He may have lost some money during the card games but the family loved and accepted him.

Pilar finally meets Mike's mother, Rosemarie. They shared a cheesecake in Fridays and Rosemarie taught Pilar how to play "Shut the Box." Pilar was so grateful and honored to have met her.

Pilar and Mike welcome a new member to their family..... RUDY MORRIS! They rescued him a week before the pandemic shut down the world. Talk about great timing.

Happy (socially distanced) Halloween! Pilar and Mike's first halloween together featuring Jason Voorhees and Pennywise the clown.

After searching the cold city streets, Pilar and Mike buy their first Christmas tree together. Mike may or may not have hurt his back carrying it all by himself back to the apartment. What a gentleman.

Mike's first Christmas Party and Christmas Season at Wendy's house in the North Pole. He was not ready for all the Christmas decorations covering the house from top to bottom!

Mike surprises Pilar with a trip to Disney World for Christmas. It was right after Covid so the park was basically empty. This began their love for all things Disney.

Pilar and Mike move into their first apartment together. Thanks to Wendy, Andy, and Chris for helping them move. Cheers to 3B!

During the Pandemic, Pilar and Mike decided to create a show of their own. On July 29th, 2021, "Timeless" came to life. They performed it at the Triad Theatre in NYC to a sold out audience. Thanks to all of the family and friends that came out to support.

After another happy year together, Pilar and Mike decide to take a last minute trip to Disney World for their 5 year Anniversary. They booked the trip the day before. This will be their 3rd trip to Disney World.....(and counting)

FINALLY, Mike attends his first Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. Pilar hasn't fully converted him. It's not his Jets but at least he's wearing green.

Pilar and Mike book their first cruise ship together! They join the cast of Syd Norman's Pourhouse on Norwegian Cruise Line's Escape. They travel all around the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Canada.

After 6 months of rocking out on the high seas, Pilar and Mike return home. They loved it so much that maybe they'll do another one...

What Pilar thought was just another fun trip to Disney, ended up being an adventure that would change their lives forever. Mike proposed in front of their favorite ride, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, in Hollywood Studios. He tricked her with a photoshoot for their "anniversary" and when she turned around, she was shocked to find him on one knee. Of course she said YES!

Wendy throws Pilar and Mike the most beautiful Engagement Party at Riverton Country Club in New Jersey. Even though it was last minute, so many friends and family members showed up to congratulate them on this new chapter.

And they're Off! Pilar and Mike head back out to Syd Norman's Pourhouse but this time on the brand new Norwegian Viva. They will be traveling the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Out of all the beautiful places they saw in Europe, one country really stuck out to the couple. Pilar and Mike fell in love with Croatia, specifically Split and Dubrovnik. They swam in the gorgeous blue water, drank at Funky George, and learned the history of the making of Game of Thrones.

After another 6 months traveling the world, Pilar and Mike return home. Two ship contracts down. 1 Wedding to plan.

Although Pilar had scheduled 6 venues to tour, they knew the first venue was the one. With the help of Wendy and Veronica, Pilar and Mike chose to have their wedding at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
