Our Wedding

Who knew true love could begin with a lab assignment? We met in the electrical trade program at CVCC, We were both in a content place, grounded in our lives and our faith, with no idea what was about to happen. Then came the accidental lab pairing. At first, it was all about experiments and classwork, but it didn’t take long for something special to spark between us. Piper says she could tell right away that Zachary had a kind heart and genuinely cared for others. Zachary’s first thought? He knew right away that talking to Piper felt effortless — like catching up with someone he’d known forever. Our first official date was to see After Death — a movie about the afterlife. You know, just your classic light and breezy first date topic. But somehow, even while pondering life’s deepest mysteries, it all just felt easy. Natural. Right. There were no grand gestures, no awkward moments — just a growing feeling that this was it. Everything clicked without us even trying (except maybe in lab — we definitely had to try there). Now here we are — started out working on a lab assignment together, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives together. We can’t wait to celebrate our happily ever after with all of you!
