Josh and Amanda met on Match.com (basically the yellow pages for single folk). After a few messages between them, Josh invited Amanda to meet him for dinner. On Friday, May 13th (turns out Friday the 13th isn't so unlucky after all) they met at Thai Arroy, a tiny restaurant in Federal Hill, Baltimore...and the rest is history.

In August of 2015, after a little over 3 years together, Josh knew it was time to make things official. He planned a trip to a little bed and breakfast by the name of Killahevlin in Mount Royal, VA. Deciding to do what they do best (let's call it wine appreciation) Amanda and Josh set out to tour the local wineries. At the first stop, Aspen Dale Winery, they enjoyed a tasting before Josh invited Amanda on a quick tour of the grounds before cracking open a bottle o' vino. Once reaching the top of a hill, in front of the vineyard, Josh (on one knee, of course) popped the question.
