Depending on who you ask, we met at two very different times. Bebo promises it was at his older sister's wedding in July 2018, where we briefly shook hands during the receiving line.

"She caught my attention right away, she is so beautiful and I really wanted to get to know her, but I didn't get the chance that day because she left early" ~ Bebo

However, Joy doesn’t quite remember this moment (sorry, Bebo!). Joy insists our real meeting was at a family gathering at her home in December 2019, where sparks finally flew!

"I remember he was sitting on our couch telling us a story, I can't remember the details because I was too distracted by how handsome he is!" ~ Joy

Our first official date was on February 2nd 2020, and it was nothing short of magical. We went rock climbing, shared a delicious dinner at The Keg, saw a movie, and finished the night playing games at The Rec Room. We didn’t want the day to end, so we made it last...for 12 unforgettable hours. We just couldn’t get enough of each other.

Six months into dating, we both knew without a doubt that we were meant to be. Bebo even bought the rings in November 2020—yes, we really knew that soon! It’s true what they say: "When you know, you know." We just had to wait for the right moment since we were both still finishing school.

Fast forward to December 22nd, 2022—Bebo pulled off the most beautiful surprise proposal, surrounded by our closest family and friends. It was a day filled with so much love, and looking back, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start to this next chapter.

Now, here we are, getting ready to say "I do" and start our forever (and longer) together. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all and begin this exciting journey as husband and wife!
