Ian and Polly met the first week of freshman year at Illinois College. Being a small school, they were constantly running into each other and became friends with the same people. After many dates, including the BEST first date of a Bastille and Capitol Cities concert, Ian asked Polly to be his girlfriend March 18, 2016.

After graduating college, both moved to Black Mountain, NC to work for YMCA Blue Ride Assembly for the next four years. (Voted most likely to get married the summer of 2017.)

In 2022, the two packed everything they own in their CRV and moved to Fort Collins, CO. Since moving here both have found an amazing community and adopted their first puppy, Percy. He has become a great addition to their little family.

Ian proposed to Polly at the Cliff of Moher, Ireland in November 2022.

Today, the couple enjoys time with Percy, going on road trips to different hiking spots, spending time with their new community and traveling the world.
