Flights
The Chattanooga airport is about 15 minutes away from downtown Chattanooga. It's the most convenient, but there aren't many direct flights.
Alternatively, the Atlanta and Nashville airports are both 2 hours away. Groome Transportation runs shuttles hourly between Atlanta/Nashville and Chattanooga, and that's a great option if you are flying in and don't want to rent a car.
Getting around Chattanooga
The hotel (Hotel Chalet) is 15 minutes from the wedding venue (Gardens in the Gorge). If you wanted, you could get away with not renting a car while you're in town. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance of the hotel. If you want to explore the hiking or climbing around Chattanooga, we definitely recommend renting a car!
Chattanooga has a great bike sharing program and a free shuttle right by the hotel that will bring you right downtown.
