Our journey began with a fateful match on a Friday night on an online dating app. His heart was captivated by the virtuous humility, divine beauty, and irresistible sense of humor she possessed. Likewise, she found herself drawn to his nerdy interests, gentle charm, and the honesty that shone through his every word. He knew right away that we had to meet and rendezvous the next day. The second our eyes met, she sensed the warmth and pureness of his soul, as if the universe conspired to bring together two hearts. Our first date at Navy Pier, a magical escapade lasting eight hours, concluded with him professing that it was the best first date of his life. In the cosmic dance of destiny, a New Delhi trailblazer and a Chicago gentleman, born and raised at opposite ends of the world, discovered the serendipitous magic that bound their souls together. Deep conversations, adventurous trips, and shared experiences transformed a close friendship into a love so profound. Approaching the two-year mark, we stand on the precipice of eternity, recognizing each other as the one and only. On our special day, you are invited to witness a fairy tale of love that defies boundaries, be they of time, distance, or culture. We could talk for hours and never run out of things to say! She is 6 years younger to me, but wise beyond her years! I am so happy to have my little sister by my side on this special day

In 2010, we crossed paths in med school, and little did I know that this encounter would shape my life forever. Sups became my best friend, study buddy, and soul sister.  I will forever cherish our time in Delhi as we embarked on our dream to do residency in the US together. Time and distance couldn't break our bond, and I'm eternally grateful for that.

I was too shy, so she broke the ice and asked which med school I attended. When I said KMC, she replied with the same answer, and that was the beginning of a friendship of a lifetime. That's how our paths intertwined in residency in 2018. Tanu has been my best friend since residency; she has been my rock, my guiding light, my adventurous travel buddy and my source of endless laughter.  Finding true friendship in my late 20s is a gift I am forever grateful for. Tanu, you are a heaven-sent angel in my life.

We met during my fellowship in 2021 when I moved to Chicago, thanks to Tanu. Our friendship transcends the traditional Nephrology vs. Cardiology rivalry. She is the calmest person you'll ever meet. She is my pillar of strength and I wish had met her in med school. I am grateful to Urshita for being my Chi town hangout buddy! I will always cherish our times playing ping pong, amateur tennis, basketball and movie nights!

If you plan to stay in the suburbs, renting a car may be the most economical and convenient option. If you plan to stay in the city, public transport is easily accessible for tourism. However, we recommend using Uber/Lyft to commute to the chapel/venue to avoid those hefty downtown parking fees! Enjoy the charm of Chicago without the hassle. Welcome to our beautiful city!

Here are some tips I wish I knew when I visited Chicago! 1. Ventra Card can be purchased at CTA train stations2. Buying a day pass is more cost effective if planning to use CTA train/bus &gt;2 times in a day3. Download the Ventra App to see the most accurate departure/arrival times4.
