Our story began in a way that neither of us could have predicted. In 2014, Por came to Canada as an international student, stepping into a new world filled with possibilities. Little did Por knows that two years later, on February 12, 2016, ours life would change forever. It was at a mutual friends birthday in Vancouver, BC, that Por and John first met. What started as a simple conversation soon blossomed into something truly special. Whether it was love at first sight or a connection that grew over time, one thing became clear—the more we got to know each other, the deeper our love became.


One of our fondest memories is our first date. John took Por to snow hiking—something Por had never done before. It was both exhilarating and challenging, and through it, John opened up a new world for Por. Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures, traveling to places like the USA, the Philippines, and Thailand, each journey strengthening our bond and filling our hearts with unforgettable memories.


Our love has grown not just through the places we’ve visited but also through the people we’ve met. John introduced Por to his family in Canada and the Philippines, welcoming her with open arms. In turn, Por was proud to introduce John to her family in Thailand when he visited. Our families have become a part of our journey, adding to the love and support that surrounds us.


Over the past eight years, we’ve faced lifes highs and lows together—moments of joy and laughter, as well as challenges and tears. Through it all, we’ve grown stronger and more united, ready to embrace whatever the future holds. As we prepare to take the next step in our journey, we are filled with excitement and gratitude.


We are overjoyed to celebrate our wedding on November 10-11, 2024, and we cant wait to share this special day with all of you. Thank you for being a part of our story, and we look forward to creating even more beautiful memories together.
