We met through a mutual friend, Jennifer Barnes. Jenn invited both of us to her birthday party. We both agreed to go and, at the last minute we both tried to back out. She told each of us we can't bail because this is going to be your future spouse! So we both decided to go!

The birthday party took place on a boat and we both thought that it was going to be a long boat ride. The handle on the refrigerator was broken and the captain was wondering who did it. Although the sparks weren't flying...the handle on the fridge was. Porsha won Chris over with her quick-wit telling the Captain it was him to blame. I guess Chris liked Porsha's sense of humor because the rest is history!
