Our Wedding

Travis and Precious have a unique journey, truly worth the wait. Their love story isnt just about finding love; it’s about forging a deep and enduring connection, like two stars finally aligning in the night sky. You can see their love in their smiles and the way they look at each other, captured in countless photos reflecting a boundless love meant to last forever. Destinys design became apparent in God’s path for them. The pandemic interrupted plans, but not fates. Precious chased her Olympic dreams, while Travis started a new chapter at C-Aire Compressors. Their friendship blossomed into something profound. The chemistry between Precious, full of energy, and Travis, loyal and nurturing, was instant. Their love isnt about following a set of rules; its about the mutual exchange of support and joy, rooted in their shared faith and laughter. Their dreams include a 30th-anniversary celebration that shines just as brightly as their wedding day, much like Mark and Angie Wiesers unconditional love story. Their journey has been marked by loyalty, laughter, and perhaps a bit of stubbornness, all wrapped in a growing love. Travis and Precious share a bold and steadfast love, echoing through their lives with laughter and playfulness. They are their own happily-ever-after, supported by the love of family and friends.

Our Testament

Travis and Precious bought a house in Maplewood, Minnesota in April of last year. Travis is the Marketing Manager &amp; Business Systems Analyst at C-Aire Compressors, while Precious serves as an Assistant Coach at Augsburg University and Professional Athlete.Together, they share their home with two hairless cats named Sconnie and Cali, as well as Miko, their husky/lab mix, and Oliver, their baby Great Dane.

• 17 days after the wedding, P&amp;T celebrate 2 years of marriage.• They attended a Lil Wayne concert at The Fillmore in 2023.

MSP (Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport) serves as the primary airport for the area and is highly recommended for your travel needs. It is conveniently located only 15 minutes away from both the venue and our accommodations. Though transportation to and from the wedding celebration will be provided for guests of the following hotels, you may wish to rent a car for seamless transportation. Uber/Lyft is also highly accessible in the vicinity.

The signature&nbsp;touches of The Fillmore brand&nbsp;are here, from the red velvet drapes that line&nbsp;the walls, its&nbsp;wood dance floor, and&nbsp;four crystal chandeliers.&nbsp;Peppered throughout the venue are vintage concert posters of Minnesota artists performing at other Fillmores, including Owl City, Prince, and The Jayhawks at the entryway. Follow the Prince mural to get to the lounge on the second floor, where cocktail hour will be held.

Parking

While The Fillmore does not have a parking lot, metered parking is available on surrounding streets and a handful of parking ramps are just a few blocks away. Ramps will appear on any GPS, with the nearest behind the building.

Hen House Eatery is absolutely Precious' all-time favorite breakfast spot! Those Cinnamon Roll Pancakes are a mouthwatering delight! The lines move swiftly, and the service is simply fantastic, adding an extra dose of joy to the whole experience!

Astoria Cafe in Minneapolis is a delightful hidden gem, offering Instagram-worthy lattes, scrumptious crepes, sandwiches, salads, and smoothie bowls. Try their famous 24K Latte for a treat. It's cozy inside, but popular, so expect some crowds. Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, and artfully presented. Don't miss this charming cafe experience!

Herbst Eatery & Farm Stand is a chef-driven, neighborhood restaurant and market inspired by an Amish farm stand near the owners’ hobby farm about two hours southeast of the Twin Cities in Western Wisconsin’s picturesque Driftless Area.  The farm stand is the source of many of the fresh ingredients Herbst’s owners use to create the almost entirely locally sourced meals they prepare at their farm. They value knowing where their food comes from and the care and respect for the land that nurtures it.

At Black Star Co-op in Austin, the notion of a cooperatively owned brewery came to life. The founders believed the operations of craft breweries were opaque and that there was a gap between being a homebrewer and owning a brewery. The founders’ hope was that the co-op model would not only provide a way for consumers to be more involved in the brewery’s operations, but also bring shared co-op values to the Minnesota craft beer scene. After all, great beer is best paired with great community.

There is no pork in any dish and a variety of vegetarian/vegan options to choose from. Ordering is quick service with build your own options. You can have your bowl right away, just how you want it. Yet, at the center of Soul Bowl is family. Community seating, lawn games, and Grandma's House Service create the togetherness that soul food is all about. It is a soul food experience that is sure to warm your mind, body, and soul.

Red Cow was hatched the way a lot of great ideas are - around the kitchen table. As a family, Luke, Tracy, Michael and Peter, would always talk about what kind of restaurant they would build together. With a shared love for a really good burger, the family decided on a “modern tavern concept that would elevate burgers and beverages to something special. Stumped on a name, the family pitched ideas back and forth for weeks until one day Tracy said, “how about Red for the wine and Cow for the burgers? Red Cow!”

Each item on the menu is carefully curated to ensure great taste and quality. As simple as a Cheese &amp; Sauce or as extravagant as an Oyster Mushroom, Smoked Mozzarella, Rosemary &amp; Garlic, Black Sheep has the perfect pizza for your unique taste buds. The menu also includes house made draft cocktails, a rotating lineup of craft beer, wine by the glass and bottle, as well as salads, appetizers, and grilled items.
