Unfortunately, Big Cedar does not offer discounted room blocks. We recommend booking directly through their website or by calling their reservations team to secure your stay. Are children allowed?
We hope you can treat this evening as a special date night, however, we understand that Big Cedar is a family-friendly destination. Should you need us to accommodate your children, we kindly ask to please reach out to us in advance.
What is the dress code?
We'd love our guests to dress up with us! We're asking you wear formal attire. Please, no jeans or shorts!
Is there Uber/Lyft available?
We have been told Ubers/Lyfts are hard to come by in this area. Please plan accordingly if you are not staying on-site and plan to drive!
When should I RSVP by?
We kindly ask you RSVP by May 1, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by the date specified, we cannot make exceptions and we will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide the venue with your food selections and an accurate guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand. We hope everyone can make it and are looking forward to celebrating with you!
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Please plan to arrive at the chapel around 3:30 to ensure you have plenty of time.
Where should I park?
On the wedding day, we will have shuttles running from the Big Cedar Grandview Conference Center (the reception spot) up to our ceremony at Top of the Rock. Please park at the Grandview Conference Center located at 612 Devil's Pool Road, Ridgedale, MO, 65739. Shuttles will take you back down to the reception area after the ceremony. If you so wish, you may park at Top of the Rock, however, they do charge for parking. Guests staying on-site will have access to shuttles during their entire stay. Shuttle service for the wedding will start at 3:00 P.M.
IS YOUR CEREMONY AND RECEPTION AT THE SAME LOCATION?
Yes, however they are not within walking distance. See map below. Shuttles will be provided from the reception venue to the chapel and then back down to the reception venue. Shuttle service starts at 3:00 P.M.
