If you were to die today, are you 100 percent sure that you would go to Heaven?

According to God’s Word, your eternal soul will live either in heaven or in hell after you die. This decision is not based on good deeds, baptism, or even church membership. Ultimately, YOU decide where to spend eternity. The Bible tells us how we can KNOW we will go to heaven.

Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

We are all sinners. God’s Word reminds us that we all have sinned. The word sin means to miss the mark or come short of perfection, by disobeying God. At one time or another, we have all chosen to disobey God.

Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Your sin has a penalty. The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place the Bible calls Hell. This is the fate of every person who has not believed in Jesus Christ as Savior.

Romans 5:8 says "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus paid your penalty. God proved His love for you by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sin. Jesus died in your place and paid your penalty.

The choice is yours to make – believe on Jesus today.

Romans 10:9 says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

To believe on Jesus Christ as Savior means to have faith that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only way to Heaven.

What do you choose? Won’t you take just a moment and choose heaven? You can express your belief on Jesus through prayer. You can pray to God and He will save you from your sins. Your prayer can be as simple as this one:

"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you died on the cross and paid the penalty for my sin. I believe that you arose from the dead and you’re alive today in Heaven. I place my faith in you alone to forgive my sin and save me. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

You can know for Sure!

The assurance that you have eternal life is based on God’s unchanging Word. The Bible provides this assurance to those who believe on Him.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

God does not lie. He has promised everlasting life to those who believe in Him as Savior.
