It all started when they both happened to meet each other at Trillium in Canton. They were invited separately to hang out that evening which turned out to be a night of tumbling events starting at Trillium then to Yardhouse. Despite the fun they had that night the sparks did not quite ignite yet. However, the first encounter did not end up being the last. Over the course of the next few months they would happen to be in the same groups that would hang out more and more together.


Eventually an attraction between the two formed. They realized how much they had in common, how their circles overlapped and even how close they worked from each other. Their first date was when Bernie asked to have a coffee date by Prisca's office (neither of them like coffee, but to see each they made it work). One coffee date turned into two which led to lunch dates in cafes and lunches on the pier by The Milk Bottle.


They made things official in November of 2022 at JP Licks. From that day Bernie wanted their families to meet and to truly get to know one another past just friends. Prisca soon after met his mom, who was ecstatic to meet her and has shared treasures of advice ever since the first day of meeting Prisca. Next, Prisca met Bernie's dad who said after introducing himself that they already looked like a long time couple. The time now came for Bernie to meet Prisca's parents. He came through the door prepared with a bouquet of flowers and subtle nerves. Those nerves soon melted away when he was warmly received by her parents and they had a chance to really get to know the man that took their daughter's heart.


As their relationship blossomed they were by each other's side for all the accomplishments, travels, and the up and down rollercoaster that life brings. They drew closer to each other understanding one another's personalities and temperaments. They spent time getting to know each others friends and congregations. From the start Bernie said how life did not feel right without Prisca in it. To be sure that she would always be there he popped the question in December of 2023. Now the couple can't wait to tie knot and spend their lives together on September 8th, 2024
