Inderpreet and Priya met in high school at New Hyde Park Memorial High School in the 10th grade. They locked eyes in Physics class and initially started off as friends. Indy became Priya's Physics tutor and they began hanging out more with their respective friend groups. Its safe to say they both had a crush on each other when they met, however it took some time for them to realize their true feelings for one another. Indy ended up asking Priya to prom one week before the event and they went as friends.

Priya and Inderpreet ended up going to different medical schools across the country. With Priya in West Virginia and Inderpreet in New York, they relied on daily facetime and phone calls to connect. Despite being so far away from one another physically, they knew that their hearts were both with one another. Throughout medical school, they became each other's support system and relied on each other to get through both the tough days and also the victorious ones. During Inderpreet's final year of medical school, a global pandemic also added to this love story and made things even harder. Despite it all, their love continued to grow. They truly are each others cheerleaders.

Inderpreet and Priya both graduated medical school and began residency training ... yet again in two different states. The continuous facetime and phone calls continued and their love continued to flourish. The one certainty they always had in their busy lives was one another. They scheduled Netflix dates on post-call days and Inderpreet would drive to New York as often as possible to spend time together.

When Inderpreet got down on one knee on that gorgeous NY day at The Summit, the only answer was YES and the rest was history! It was the perfect day.
