Guests are more than welcome to come to both! That said, there will not be food following the ceremony, only at the reception so please plan accordingly! The bride and groom will be celebrating privately with their families following the ceremony and then with friends at the reception.
What's the dress code?
Fancy yet fun! We encourage guests to wear whatever is comfortable for them. Please don't come in your greatest of formal wear but do come in what makes you feel your most happiest. We want you to be as happy as we are!
Specifically speaking, please don't come in formal attire! Mid-July gets hot and we'd hate for your evening gowns and three-piece suits to be drenched in sweat and bug spray. The vibe is definitely backyard bbq and summer beach party but chic. Think semi-formal. A cute summer dress, jeans, t-shirts, etc.
How do I RSVP?
You are able to search your name on our website and RSVP from there (your full name). When you received your invite, your letter will have indicated if you and a partner/spouse were invited or not. Both you and your partner will need to RSVP separately otherwise you can let us know if a guest is attending.
If you are struggling with RSVPing online, please let us know and we can update it for you manually.
Where exactly is it?
The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held at Pavan Park, a location very near and dear to us. Specifically, it will be at the John Martin Shelter at the park. Parking is available.
Is this event restricted?
Yes! It is restricted to 18+ guests. It is also important to recognize that guests will need to secure transportation to and from the venue if they will be consuming alcohol.
What about gifts?
We ask guests that are wanting to give a gift to simply stick to cash or small mementos of our time with you in our lives. The more sentimental, the better.
What do we do after the ceremony and before reception?
We encourage guests to go home or head out for brunch! The bride and groom will likely be leaving for photos and some intimate family time so please feel free to use this time for you!
