Our Wedding

Peter and Priyanka matched on a dating app in early October 2022. They started talking without expecting to become much more than friends. However, after two weeks of getting to know each other over the phone, they decided it was time to meet in person!	Their first date took place on October 26 at Lazzari, a pizza restaurant in Portland. The easy conversation and endless laughter made it clear to both of them—this was the best first date they had ever been on.	Things became more serious over Priyanka’s winter break, which brought many snow days—extra time she happily spent with Peter. On December 16, 2022, they officially became a couple.	As their relationship grew, Priyanka and Peter seamlessly integrated into each other’s families and friend groups. They also found a shared love for pickleball, a game they continue to play whenever possible.	On June 30, 2024, at the top of Niagara Falls, Peter proposed—and, of course, Priyanka said yes! And that brings us to today, celebrating the soon-to-be Bride and Groom. To our wonderful friends and family, thank you. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you and can’t wait to celebrate our special day together!

Elizabeth or (Lizzy) and Priyanka worked together during the summer of '22 at the YMCA in Freeport. The two went from coworkers to best friends due to a spontaneous week-long trip to Florida that February. Priyanka couldn't think of any of person she'd rather have officiate this special day.

Joey is Peter’s lifelong best friend. They grew up together in Western Maine and enjoyed playing Xbox, baseball, and riding 4-Wheelers.

Rachel and Priyanka have been friends since elementary school, but grew closer between high school and college. Priyanka knows that she and Rachel can talk about anything and find similarities in most everything.

Alex is Peter’s best friend from College. They lived together throughout college and have maintained a great friendship post graduation.

Mehgan was one of Priyanka's first friends in college and the two quickly became tightly-knit. Mehgan has been a loyal, fun and greatly supportive friend to Priyanka.

Kevin is Peter’s older brother. Peter and Kevin grew up doing almost everything together from playing sports to going cliff jumping at Coos Canyon.

Shradha is Priyanka's older sister. Over the years they have become best friends. Priyanka knows she can rely on her sister for anything, in the past, Shradha has been Priyanka's first call in an emergency. Priyanka admires Shradha's strong work ethic and honesty.

Brian is Peter’s oldest brother. Brian was Peter’s role model growing up. Peter had the pleasure of being the annoying little brother, a role that he was born to fulfill. They enjoyed playing video games together and passing around a football.

Rachel is Priyanka’s oldest sister. Though the two are further a part in age, Rachel has been there for Priyanka in many ways throughout her life. Priyanka has fond memories of trips together and advice shared over the years with her sister. Priyanka admires her sister's intelligence and will always go to her first for writing tips, and application advice.
