It all started in Fall 2022, when fate (and an Indian dating app called DilMil, which literally means “meeting of hearts” ❤️) decided to play matchmaker. Krupal came across Priyanka’s profile and was immediately intrigued by her response to the prompt “What’s your ideal Sunday?” Her answer? “Yoga, Coffee, & You.”

Now, this wasn’t just a cute answer — it was basically Krupal’s weekend itinerary. During Covid, he had gotten into hot yoga (yes, willingly), followed by coffee runs to local cafés, and his love language has always been quality time. So when he saw “Yoga, Coffee, & You,” his brain basically went: She gets me. Swipe right.

From there, sparks flew over texts that turned into 4-hour phone calls, endless jokes, and a FaceTime session to confirm neither of them was being catfished.

Eventually, Priyanka decided it was time to meet in person. She told Krupal she was coming to NYC for a “Microsoft conference” (a.k.a. Operation: Meet the Guy).

Krupal, being the planner he is, organized a date that would set the bar impossibly high for all future dates. It started with his favorite NYC pizza spot — Joe & Pat’s. If you know Krupal, you know his love for Joe & Pat’s runs deep. (He’s mentioned it approximately 27 times since.)

After Priyanka had what she still claims is the best pizza of her life, the two continued their adventure with deep conversations and laughs over drinks at Oscar Wilde and Patent Pending.

The night ended on a surprisingly romantic note — Krupal deleted his dating apps right in front of her. That moment officially marked the start of something special: a love story built on laughter, honesty, and way too much pizza. 🍕💞
