Important Travel Note On Monday, September 21, ALL GUESTS should plan to arrive to Pisa and/or the wedding venue to prepare for the start of wedding events. There are no direct flights from the U.S. so all itineraries will include at least one connection. We suggest planning to depart the U.S. on September 18th-19th Guests may also choose to depart on Sunday, September 20th, but please note that with no direct flights you will arrive in Italy on Monday, September 21st, the first day of wedding festivities.

Where to Stay 🏨

We recommend staying in Florence before the Wedding events and Pisa during. Pisa will be 20 minutes from the venue. Both cities offer a range of walkable neighborhoods, great food, and easy transportation. Florence is ideal for guests looking for history, art, and shopping, while Pisa offers a quieter, more relaxed stay. WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP ? 

The latest to RSVP will be April 22nd. Kindly RSVP on time. After the RSVP date is closed we will not be able to accept RSVPs.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR CEREMONY ?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day in FORMAL BLACK TIE attire (all black attire). For women this is all black floor length dresses. For men dress shirts can be white or black, suit coat and jacket should be black. The ceremony will be outside it is recommend but not required for ladies to wear thicker heels. CAN I BRING A DATE?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.

ARE KIDS INVITED ?

We love your little ones! However we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage everyone to use this evening as a date night.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY ? 

The ceremony is at 4:30pm, you should arrive no later than 3:45pm Please be prompt and on time, during the ceremony no one late will be able to enter.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY ?

We are having an unplugged ceremony meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we absolutely will share with you.

Will I need a power adapter for my electronics in Italy?

Yes. Italy uses a different type of electrical outlet than the U.S. You’ll need a European plug adapter to charge any phones, laptops, hair dryers, flat-irons and other electronic devices. We recommend purchasing a travel adapter before your trip. WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN ITALY DURING SEPTEMBER ?

The weather during September is typically warm and pleasant during the transition of summer to early autumn. Temperatures can vary around a high of 83 -78 degrees and lows of 63-59 degrees.

Do I need a passport ?

Yes, you will need a passport to travel to Italy. Please note if your passport expires six months from departure date you will need to renew your passport no later than May.

Will I need a travel Visa to travel to Italy ?

No visa is required, but you must have your US passport while in Italy for legal identification, as digital or photocopies are not accepted.

From Valdosta to Forever Who knew that one message sent via Twitter on June 3rd, 2016 would lead us here. "Are you taking classes this summer? "One week later two enthusiastic freshmen, brought together by chance, quickly became inseparable. Living just steps away from each other in the same dorm hall, we built a connection rooted in friendship, laughter, and endless memories. Our first date was a Braves game hosted by the summer program, and our first official date soon followed—a fun night of bowling on August 1st, Norman made it official, asking Psalms to be his girlfriend on National Girlfriend Day. From that moment, we became partners in everything, sharing life’s ups and downs. College life was a whirlwind, but we navigated it together. Norman played football, and Psalms was his biggest supporter through early mornings and late nights. We spent countless nights studying together in the library until 3 a.m. and even worked side by side at jobs like Old Navy, Big Nick’s, and Cajun Wild Crab. As we grew together, we documented our journey through YouTube videos, capturing the fun and challenges of our college days. On June 16th, 2018 we adopted our first addition to the family our fur baby Rylee Thrasher. After graduation, the adventure didn’t stop, We moved back home to Atlanta, Georgia in 2021 to embrace adulthood. Italy became a special part of our story in 2022, inspiring us with its rich history and breathtaking views. A nine hour flight to Milan and a two hour train ride over to Venice, It was during this trip we dreamed of one day celebrating our wedding in Italy. As time has flown by 2023 &amp; 2024 we have celebrated career milestones, moving into a new home and exploring the world together while creating those loving memories in between.September 2024 Psalms and Norman welcomed their second fur baby and little brother to Rylee, Teddy Thrasher. November 22nd, 2024 Norman proposed in the most magical way—a sunset proposal in Montego Bay, complete with a fire show. Nostalgia fills the air as we reminisce about our first international trip to Jamaica in 2020—a perfect way to celebrate nearly a decade of love, partnership, and shared dreams. As we look ahead to our wedding day, we are reminded of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown together. This journey has been nothing short of incredible, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, love, and laughter—our story is just beginning!
