Dress code is more semi-formal/business casual! I realized some websites have different perceptions of the word formal, so I think semi-formal/business casual makes more sense!
The main this is you're comfortable! Also note the reception is on grass so wear comfy shoes!
If my GPS doesn't work, do you have directions to The Sander's House?
Hi all! Unfortunately GPS doesn't always take you to my parents house directly. I believe GoogleMaps does, but in the event you are having issues with it here are step by step instructions:
1. When leaving the church turn right out of the parking lot.
2. Follow 9L approximately 5.5 miles until you see the road sign for Assembly Point Road (it will be on the way up a hill in the road).
3. The turn onto Assembly Point road will be like a u-turn. Once you turn right, follow the road to the right down a hill. Do not go to the road to the left.
4. Follow Assembly Point Road for approximately a mile. You will follow straight and then a left turn in the road until you reach a stop sign next to a large log cabin home.
5. Turn right at the stop sign.
6. Follow Bay Parkway for approximately .5 miles and you will see the location! The house itself is tan with a plum color door and doorway to the garage! The garage door will likely be open for you to see the party festivities!
Where do I Park?
Please park in the large grass filed before my parents house across the road! This location is across the road from my parents neighbors home, so please use caution while driving to avoid ripping up the grass as he works hard to maintain it and is kind enough to let us use the spot for parking! There will also be small amounts of parking directly across from my parents home (though there will be bathrooms situated there) and a small area for parking just after my parent's parking area with gravel.
Can I Bring My Kids?
As much as we adore your children, we have decided that this will be a adult only ceremony and reception. Unfortunately both the church and my parents home has very limited space so to be mindful of that as well as making sure we have the room to invite as many of our friends and family as we can, we are choosing to not invite any children.
