Q + A

What time should we arrive?

The wedding ceremony begins at 4pm, so we suggest arriving around 3:15-3:30pm if you want ample time to settle in!

What is the address of the venue?

21320 Water Wood Dr., Garden Ridge, TX 78266. We will have directional wedding signage at the venue site to help you find your way!

Will there be parking available?

Yes! Parking for all guests will be located in the back of the venue site by the basketball court/pond area. There will be signs and parking attendants that will help day-of!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will begin outdoors, followed by the reception and dance indoors. In the case of bad weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors as well.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes! We have made accommodations with Fairfield Inn & Suites, San Antonio NE/Schertz for October 11-October 13th. Follow the link below to reserve OR call (210) 658-1466 and request a booking for "Qiara & Kobi" or "Mireles" Wedding! https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1716509240722&key=GRP&app=resvlink

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal, dressy-casual. ALL SHADES of pink and purple, as well as florals. No white for women. "Attire that is dressier than what you would wear to work, but not as formal as what you would wear to black-tie or formal events. Mini and midi dresses and skirts, blouses, suits, slacks and button-down shirts, pantsuits, etc. Patterns and colors are encouraged"

What is the weather like in the area?

If you are not from here, no worries! It's Texas, it is usually pretty warm and dry. October should be about 70s-80s with lows in about the 70s. We might be lucky and see fall come early! In this case, it would be breezy/chilly during the day (60s-70s) and about the 50s at night.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes, your children are welcome. However, please be aware that during the ceremony you may be asked to step away if your children are having a rough time. It is a very important and intimate day for us, and we would like to minimize interruptions and distractions as much as possible. There will not be a separate kid's meal provided with catering services.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

A buffet-style dinner provided by Lupe Tortilla that will include beef and chicken fajitas, rice and beans, chips, salsa, and queso, as well as flour and corn tortillas with fixings (guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded cheese).

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! All alcohol will be provided and served through our bartending service free of charge.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 13827 Goat Cove, San Antonio, TX 78252. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Will there be other events to attend on wedding weekend?

Yes, there is always something to do here in San Antonio. One event is the 2024 Barbacoa & Big Red Festival at the Freeman Coliseum grounds and Expo Hall on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, from 10am-10pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We would prefer that guests refrain from taking photos and videos during our wedding ceremony until otherwise suggested to by us (the bride and groom) during the ceremony. Take in the moment! We want to see you, not your iPhone 15.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

We would prefer that you refrain from posting on social media until at least the following day. We want you to enjoy the moment as much as we do without the pressure of posting for others to see!

Am I allowed a "plus one?"

Unless otherwise specified on your wedding invitation envelope or approved by Kobi & I personally, we will not be allowing "plus one's." We respectfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation or approved by us. Thank you so much for understanding!

What is your “wedding hashtag?”

#MirelesGetMarried on all social media platforms! (Say it slowly... wink wink)
