Finch &amp; Audrey met in early 2019, when Audrey lured Finch out of their comfort zone with fancy chocolates and an abundance of charisma. It was immediately obvious to everyone who met both of them that they were absolutely perfect for each other - and here we are five years later, preparing to celebrate their marriage at the <a href="https://mortonarb.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Morton Arboretum</a>!

Finch and Katie met in 2014, at their mutual first Real Adult Job™️ in the city. They bonded over a love of dogs, tattoos, and baking, and became instantly inseparable! Finch often refers to Katie as their "other other half" and anyone who has met them both can instantly see why - they're clearly meant to be BFFs.

Audrey and Srishti met in 2011 as freshman roommates at IU and quickly became best friends. Whether searching for the best pizza in town, playing nurse, or building a home away from home, Audrey and Srishti always had each other's back. Even being separated by the majority of the planet now hasn't resulted in any (emotional) distance between them! 

Srishti Vaidya (she/her)

Finch and Katie met online sometime around 2009 and pretty much grew up together as long-distance besties! From neopets to high school to college to weddings, they've seen each other through every challenge & adventure!

Katie Warrick (she/her)

Audrey met Maddie when their parents brought home what was clearly a new toy for Audrey to play with. These two sisters have always cheered each other on from the sidelines, from little league to Wrigley Field!

Madeline Albright (she/her)

Finch and Audrey met Zac and Stephanie in the local Chicago market vendor scene, and Finch quickly scooped them up as new besties! Stephanie and Finch can often be found chattering about their mutual love of dogs, chenille yarns, Broadway shows, and making cute and/or weird stuffed toys. 

Stephanie Oliver-Young (she/her)

Audrey and Finch met Stephanie and Zac as fellow art market vendors and Audrey immediately started befriending them by sharing good food and bad puns. Zac rarely seems to tire of Audrey talking even if it's a story they've already heard!

Hyatt Regency Lisle Near Naperville

The hotel is located approximately half a mile from the Morton Arboretum entrance. We will be providing shuttle service between the hotel and Thornhill Education Center at a few set times before, and at the end of, our event. Shuttles to the wedding, from the hotel: - 4:40 pm- 5:00 pm Shuttles from the wedding, to the hotel: - 11:15 pm - 12:00 am Each shuttle can accommodate 11 guests, so please plan accordingly!

Shuttles between the Hyatt and Morton Arboretum

In order to gain entry at the <a href="https://mortonarb.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Morton Arboretum</a> Gatehouse, simply tell them you're there for the Albright-Bertram wedding. Directions to Thornhill Education Center from the Gatehouse:- The Morton Arboretum entrance is located at Illinois Route 53 and Park Blvd, about 1/3 mile north of I-88.- After passing through the gatehouse, turn right at the stop sign and continue on the main route (west side) approximately 1 mile past the Thornhill Education Center and park in P-21 (on the right).- After parking in P-21, follow the signs back to the Thornhill Education Center (light tan stone building).- The Thornhill drop off circle is located to your left and leads to the front entrance of the Thornhill Education Center.- A ramp is located on the end of the building for loading and handicap access.- A night exit is located at the north end of the parking lot P-21.

As part of our ceremony, we'll be creating + sealing a time capsule to be opened on our 10th anniversary - and we want your help filling it!

We'll have some note-writing materials on hand if you want to write us a brief note while you wait for the ceremony to begin, but you are of course also welcome to bring something more involved along with you. Here are some suggestions of the sorts of things you could add to our time capsule:- Photos- Letters- Recipes- News articles- Printed out memes- Very small, non-perishable gifts or trinkets Really, anything small that reminds you of us would be acceptable! Just bear in mind that if your item is not flat/paper-ish, please limit the size to leave plenty of space for other items (: For reference, here are the (outer) dimensions of the box:12"x8"x4"

Our Time Capsule

We would love to see whatever photos you take at our wedding!

We're very excited to see what our photographer comes back with, but we also know that it will take some time for those pictures to be processed. In the meantime, we'll be putting a few other tools/options in place so that we can have quicker access to at least some pictures right after the wedding! Below is a picture of our friend Theri. Theri will be in charge of several disposable cameras, which we highly encourage everyone to borrow from them throughout the night! Snap a selfie, a pic of friends you haven't seen in a while, a quick shot of your dinner and/or table mates, your favorite song on the dance floor, or an artsy shot of your favorite decorations - whatever you like - and then return the camera to Theri. These cameras will be our window into your experience of our wedding, and we're absolutely stoked to see what memories you capture!

We kindly ask that all attendees take a COVID test within one day of the wedding. We, and many of our loved ones, are immunocompromised and therefore more susceptible to the long-term ramifications of COVID. Plus we would hate to have to cancel our own post-wedding travel plans due to illness! If you are traveling to join us, we additionally request that you wear a mask while in public spaces along the way, including (but not limited to) airports, airplanes, and when stopping at rest stops or other populated areas.
